LIVING WATERS MEDICAL WHANGANUI EAST 

76 MOANA STREET TO 163 WICKSTEED STREET

Over the past year, we have sought advice from experts to arrive at what may be the best approach to achieving the desired outcome of having a premises that could accommodate the expectations of modern general practice/primary health care at Whanganui East.

As part of this plan our team has collaborated with a community partner on a project to develop a purpose-built medical premises located close to where the existing clinic is located.  It is anticipated that the building will be ready by the end of the year 2024.

Our team however recognizes that while this addresses the longer-term plan for the clinic and its clientele; we still needed to ensure we did not continue clinic operations from a premises that is not deemed fit for purpose for a general practice facility.  

With this in mind the decision was made to move Living Waters Medical Whanganui East in the interim to our more modern and spacious medical facility at Suite 1, Whanganui Polyclinic, 163 Wicksteed Street, Whanganui 4500 while we await completion of the building project at Whanganui East.

We understand change doesn’t come without inconvenience but rest assured this is in the best interest of ensuring we retain a viable general practice clinic operating in the suburb of Whanganui East into the future.  

With the clinic operations set to continue at the current location (76 Moana Street) until the 31 May 2024 operations at the new location (163 Wicksteed Street) will commence from 

04 June 2024.

WHANGANUI SKIN CENTRE

(Previously Whanganui Skin Cancer Centre) 

163 Wicksteed Street to 5 Rakau Road, Castlecliff

  The Whanganui Skin (Cancer) Centre currently operating from Suite 1, Whanganui Polyclinic, 163 Wicksteed Street, Whanganui 4500 will move to our larger medical premises at 5 Rakau Road, Castlecliff, Whanganui 4501 to create space for Living Waters Medical Whanganui East to move into Suite 1, Whanganui Polyclinic, 163 Wicksteed Street, Whanganui 4500. 

The Whanganui Skin Centre's operations from the new location (5 Rakau Road, Castlecliff) will commence from 04 June 2024.
