living waters general practice team

The Living Waters general practice team works to the modern Specialist GP Model of Care and incorporates various scopes of clinical practice including General Practitioners, Nurse Prescribers, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associates, Practices Nurses and Health Care Assistants.  An Administrative Team assists with the smooth running of our clinics and aged-care facilities.

Clinicians work across sites and our new upgraded Patient Management System(PMS) enables patients to be seen at their preferred site or in acute situations at one of our clinic locations where there may be an appointment available sooner than one of our other clinic locations that they may be enrolled at.    This flexibility of accessing our services at any of our clinic locations is available to all our enrolled clients irrespective of which of our clinic location they are enrolled with.

Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP)

Silke KUEHL, Registered Nurse, PH.D.

Kia ora, my name is Silke Kuehl and I am the Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) at Living Waters.  I am also a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine and Mental Health. My role is to help when stress and life problems impact on people’s emotional or physical health. I see people of any age – and their whānau. The consults usually last between 20 and 30 minutes; we discuss your overall health and create a plan around how to tackle your main concern. People often see me once, but sometimes they return to learn more skills. I am available Wednesdays and Fridays.
