We are excited to inform you that we are currently working with our community partner on a collaborative project to build a much-needed modern purpose-built medical facility in Whanganui East suburb to house our clinic. With an anticipated completion date of end of year 2024, the new location is on Moana Street, very close to where we are currently located on 76 Moana Street.
While we await completion of this project, the clinic will move for the short-term to one of our centrally located medical facilities at Suite 1, Whanganui Polyclinic, 163 Wicksteed Street, Whanganui 4500. These premises offer a fit for purpose building for modern general practice. This new and improved facility will allow our team to better service your health care needs. With operations at the interim facility set for 04 June 2024; our team of dedicated healthcare professionals remains committed to providing our patients with the same level of care you have come to expect from us.
This move is for the short-term ensuring we do not continue to operate in what is now considered a premises no longer fit for purpose for modern general practice. We understand that change can sometimes be inconvenient, but we assure you that we are taking every step to minimize disruptions to our patient’s healthcare needs during this transition period. Please note that all our contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, will remain unchanged.
We are truly grateful for your continued trust and support as we embark on this exciting new chapter. We feel this move is essential in order to align with what is currently expected of medical building facilities/premises. Our goal is to reestablish a viable, fit for purpose clinic anchored in the suburb of Whanganui East.
Thank you for choosing Living Waters Medical Whanganui East. We look forward to welcoming you to our new location soon.
Warm regards,
The Living Waters Medical Team.
