Silke Kuehl

Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP)

This service helps to empower people to strengthen their hauora or wellbeing.  In this integrated model the Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) and Health Coach (HC) works together with the clinicians (GPs and Nurses) to provide a holistic approach in the management of all medical conditions; mental or physical for clients.

Kia ora, my name is Silke Kuehl and I am the Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) at Living Waters.  I am also a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine and Mental Health. My role is to help when stress and life problems impact on people’s emotional or physical health. I see people of any age – and their whānau. The consults usually last between 20 and 30 minutes; we discuss your overall health and create a plan around how to tackle your main concern. People often see me once, but sometimes they return to learn more skills. I am available Wednesdays and Fridays.
